Ryan started at Monkey Tree when he was just three years old, he is now a Secondary 1 student! Over the years, I’ve watched him make continuous progress—growing from a toddler who loved story time into a confident young teen who reads English novels independently, communicates in English naturally, and has even earned a place in his secondary school’s elite stream.
Monkey Tree’s teachers are wonderfully patient and know how to guide learning through interactive teaching. The relaxed classroom atmosphere encourages children to try and ask questions without fear of making mistakes. The curriculum is also well-structured, building a solid foundation step-by-step from Cambridge Young Learners (Starters) all the way to B1 Preliminary (PET). Today, Ryan can read through an entire Skandar novel without looking up words in a dictionary—a level of reading ability and confidence built steadily over time.
I’d especially like to thank Miss Cherry, who has attentiveness and care in following up on Ryan’s learning from day one. She understands his personality and progress inside out, patiently explaining course options to help us choose what fits him best. Every teacher who has taught Ryan has been full of love and patience, using fun methods to keep him engaged so that learning English never felt like a chore.

Looking back when Matthew was in K2 and started learning English at Monkey Tree, I honestly thought it was just an ordinary English tutoring center. But over time, I’ve felt that Matthew’s English level has surpassed his age and current grade (he is now in Primary 4).
I truly believe Monkey Tree deserves huge credit for this, and I feel so at ease leaving Matthew’s education in the teachers' hands. Whether it’s writing, phonics, grammar, or speaking with crisp, clear pronunciation, Matthew has done brilliantly, giving me total peace of mind!

My two children both study at Monkey Tree, and I’m extremely satisfied with the teaching results here. My older son, Rain, has been learning at Monkey Tree since K2 and continues through P2, where he has built a very solid foundation in English. This long-term learning has made a great difference to his English skills. Now that he is in Grade 5 in primary school, he still performs well in class and maintains strong confidence in English.
My younger son, Elwin, is also continuing his learning at Monkey Tree through the Phonics program. The foreign teachers are highly professional and patient. Their teaching methods are engaging and fun, and they guide children step by step to master pronunciation rules. He is currently very interested in English phonics and reading, and his enthusiasm continues to grow.
In addition, the center staff provide very friendly and attentive support. They follow up thoroughly and always communicate with parents proactively about the children’s learning progress. Adrian began attending Monkey Tree in Yau Tong in June 2021, when he was still in kindergarten, and has now advanced to Primary Five. Apart from the English extracurricular enrichment courses at Monkey Tree, he has not taken extracurricular enrichment classes in any other subject. The main reason is that Monkey Tree classes are the only channel through which he can use English to communicate freely. He enjoys communicating with others in English. His English results are good, and he has consistently maintained a high standard. At the same time, he is full of confidence when communicating in English and does not get stage fright.
His school teachers also give objective assessments, praising him for reaching an excellent level in all three areas: English writing, reading and speaking. Adrian is confident in his English ability and actively participates in public English recitation competitions.
Adrian's English ability has been cultivated since early childhood. The most important factor is Monkey Tree's teaching staff, who can create a practical and real-life English learning atmosphere that makes children fall in love with learning English. In addition to his daily English performance, he has also taken the Trinity public examinations three times, achieving Distinction in all of them, which fully affirms his English ability.
He is currently taking the Grammar and Writing (Level 9) course. He likes his teacher Thomas, and under Thomas's guidance, he achieves twice the result with half the effort in learning and absorbing English. In addition, we would also like to thank Cherry. Adrian has known Cherry since he first started attending classes, and he likes her very much. Cherry also understands Adrian's learning progress very well and has a thorough understanding of his class arrangements and learning situation.
In conclusion, Monkey Tree provides children with an excellent and comfortable learning environment, with reasonable tuition and excellent value for money. Five years ago, we chose to let Adrian learn English at Monkey Tree, and it has proven to be the right decision.

Blair has been taking classes at the centre since K1, and now she is already in Primary 5! Every single teacher here is not only professional, but also super patient and engaging. Their lively teaching methods have really sparked Blair’s passion for learning English.
