Grand Waterfront Plaza Back to Location

Centre Introduction

The To Kwa Wan Branch is located in the Kowloon City area. Its courses focus on teaching children English phonics — helping them understand the difference between letters and sounds, teaching the use of vowel sounds, and then learning blending and long vowel techniques, achieving the skills of "read what you see, write what you hear." At the same time, we train independent reading skills, supported by an online learning platform that lets children practise on their own at home.

I think the teachers are very dedicated to teaching at To Kwa Wan branch. Most importantly, the children accept and enjoy the teaching style. I can feel their joy in the classes. The staff are also very caring. They regularly provide the children with their grades and videos, which allows me to better understand the process of the children in class.

The teachers at Monkey Tree To Kwa Wan branch are very patient and guide learning in a way that children can understand. They also encourage children to express themselves and try new things. What I appreciated most were the teacher feedback after class; it was specific and clear, showing my child's progress and areas for improvement. The staff were also very sincere, which put parents at ease. My child is more confident after class, so I highly recommend them!

First of all, I'm very grateful to all the foreign teachers and reception staff here. They are all very professional and patient, embodying the spirit of teaching without discrimination. In the two years and a half years of learning at Monkey Tree, Eartha has gone from a child who was reluctant to speak English to one who now speaks English willingly. I'm very happy; it's a good start. Perhaps she hasn't progressed as quickly as other children, but I'm still gratified by every little bit of progress she's made. Persistence is difficult, like the decision to temporarily stop attending classes for certain reasons. It was a difficult decision, but looking back, I realize how long I've already persevered. Monkey Tree's courses are designed to gradually increase in difficulty, allowing children to build interest and preventing them from resisting learning. Much of the learning is guided and playful. In addition, their online resources are very rich and constantly being updated. In short, my child is very happy and enjoys learning here.
