Mr. Conor is an enthusiastic and energetic teacher born and raised in rural Ireland. He has a bachelor’s degree in English from Maynooth University and is a certified TEFL teacher. He has used his TEFL certificate to come to Hong Kong and immerse himself in a new and colorful culture. Mr. Conor has prior experience teaching in St Mary’s National School in Virginia, Ireland. Mr. Conor enjoys numerous sporting activities such as golf and rugby and is eager to explore the rich and beautiful mountains and hidden treasures that Hong Kong has to offer. He hopes to use this experience to support the children of Hong Kong to learn and grow through Monkey Tree’s fun curriculum.
Mr Greg is from Glasgow, in beautiful Scotland. He has an Honors degree in Environmental Management and Planning. Mr Greg has worked in a nuclear power plant and lived in Italy. He loves to teach children how to read and write. Mr. Greg is excited to be a part of the Monkey Tree team.
Mr. Martin comes from Glasgow in Scotland, a city that is surrounded by beautiful hills and lochs. He has travelled to America, extensively around Europe but this is his first time travelling to Asia and he’s very excited to try all the different food Hong Kong has to offer! After graduating from Strathclyde University with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics, he decided he wanted to combine his love for teaching and travelling and move to Asia. In his free time, Mr. Martin likes to play football, go on hikes and exercise at the gym.
Ms. Sarah is from the northeast of England. She studied textiles and surface design at Huddersfield University and graduated in 2015. After graduation, she traveled, completed her TEFL and taught English in another country. She then returned to the UK and worked for SEN and autistic children in a specialized school. Her hobbies are reading, exercising, socializing and discovering new places. Ms. Sarah is very excited to start her new adventure at Monkey Tree and looks forward to teaching her all the lovely students.
