Ms. Annemie

Ms. Annemie is from a small town called George in South Africa. She graduated from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Technology. Before moving to Hong Kong Ms. Annemie worked as an Architect in Cape Town, South Africa for almost 2 years. Ms. Annemie likes to go to the beach and she enjoys hiking. She is very excited to explore Hong Kong. She is very creative and likes to learn new things every day. Ms. Annemie looks forward to being part of Monkey Tree.

Mr. Adam

Mr Adam is from South Africa, he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Marketing. Mr Adam has worked with children for a couple years coaching them different sports. This led to Mr Adam completing his TEFL course in order to teach abroad. He is very excited to be in Hong Kong and can't wait to see what the future has to offer. 

Ms. Megan

Ms Megan is from Minnesota in the United States. She graduated from Concordia College with a bachelor’s degree in Mandarin, French and global studies with an Asian studies concentration. After graduating, she moved to Zhuhai, China to work as a teaching assistant. She had the opportunity to visit Hong Kong and fell in love with the city. Ms. Megan loves traveling, going to the beach and spending time with friends. She is very excited to be teaching at Monkey Tree! 

Ms. Simone

Ms Simoné was born and raised in South Africa. She studied Education, Psychology and Criminology. As far as teaching experience goes: She worked at a Reading Centre as well as a Young Engineers Centre - a centre where you teach math and science through Lego Bricks! After a year of being a private tutor for a grade 1 learner, she decided to come to Hong Kong to teach English. She loves books and animals. She’s looking forward to joining a great group of teachers at Monkey Tree.

Mr. Aleksandr

Mr Aleksandr is an anthropology graduate who was raised in California, USA. His greatest passions in life are being in nature, traveling, and helping others. As a teacher, Mr Aleksandr brings a wholly student-centered approach to the classroom to instill confidence, ensuring that every learner is provided with the attention and respect necessary. During his time on Hong Kong, he plans on having achieved at least a basic conversational level of Cantonese within 12 months.
