Ms. Amy

Ms. Amy is from Jeffrey's Bay, South Africa and studied a bachelor of arts in human kinetics and ergonomics as well as drama at Rhodes University. She has also completed a PGCE to be a drama teacher and a TEFL course in the past year. She loves teaching and traveling.

Ms. Flora

Ms. Flora is from Cape Town, South Africa. She obtained a Bachelor of Administration degree in branding and business management. Ms. Flora completed her TEFL certificate through the TEFL Academy. She has a passion for working with children and has many years of au pairing experience. She has also worked as a camp counsellor at a summer camp in Connecticut, USA. In her free time, Ms. Flora enjoys cooking, socializing, taking photos and traveling. She is excited to create a positive classroom environment and to form meaningful relationships with her students.

Ms. Emily

Ms. Emily is from Minnesota in the United States. She has degrees in English and Theater from St. Olaf College. After University Emily worked as a middle school teacher specifically working with at-risk youth. After receiving her TEFL certificate she moved to Hong Kong to begin working at Monkey Tree and couldn't be more excited! In her free time Emily enjoys theater, music, hiking, and traveling.

Ms. Natalie

Ms Natalie is from Belgium and has an English father. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in psychology she worked for a while in finance. Two years ago, she decided to change career paths and got her CELTA degree. She is now happily combining her love for travelling with the joys of teaching. She feels very lucky to be able to continue living her dream thanks to Monkey Tree and looks forward to meeting you all!

Mr. Trent

Mr Trent was born and raised in South Africa. He received his Honor’s degree in Biotechnology from Rhodes University. He is motivated to teach English and wants his students to have fun while learning. Mr. Tent enjoys outdoor activities and exploring new places. He is excited to learn about new food and cultures as well as sharing his knowledge about South African culture and the English language.
