Ms. Cara is from Pretoria, South Africa. She has a degree in languages, majoring in French and English. She is passionate about languages, teaching, and travelling. Ms. Cara is very excited about joining the Monkey Tree family and can't wait to have fun with all the little monkeys!
Mr. Frank obtained his degrees, a B.Psych, M.A. (Psych) and a LL.B (Cum laude) from the University of Stellenbosch and the University of South Africa, respectively. Before pursuing a career in the legal field, Mr. Frank was a Psychology lecturer for 12 years. Mr. Frank is currently taking a so-called ‘gap-year’ in order to experience life in Asia.
Ms. Michelle is from Brisbane, Australia. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Criminology and Psychology in 2013. She loves to travel and has a desire to teach English. Ms. Michelle's hobbies include traveling, listening to music and playing touch football.
Mr Kyle comes from South Africa where he has finished his studies at Rhodes University and will soon graduate with his Masters degree in hydrology. 5 years’ experience of being a housemaster gave him the opportunity to develop and build strong relationships with young children. The enjoyment he found in working as a student housemaster, along with a strong desire to travel and explore, have now lured him to Hong Kong!
Mr Samson was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Shortly after graduation Mr. Samson obtained his TEFL certification. He is passionate about learning and teaching. Mr Samson enjoys traveling, reading, and playing sports such as soccer and golf.
Ms Anna has always enjoyed working with children and has been teaching in Hong Kong since 2013. During that time, she developed interactive lessons and hands on activities where students had opportunities to speak English through games and role-playing exercises. Subsequently, Ms Anna completed a NET position where she gained experience teaching English classes in kindergarten, primary and secondary schools around Hong Kong.
