Ms. Clarissa was born and raised in England and has lived in London for past 7 years. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Photography at Middlesex University, London in 2014. Ms. Clarissa worked as an Forensic support worker before completing her TEFL training and moving to Hong Kong. She enjoys swimming and exploring. She looks forward to be a part of Monkey Tree.
Mr. Ian is from Loughborough, England. He studied for his degree at Swansea University in Wales, where he obtained his bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering (Rocket Science). Mr. Ian enjoys being active and playing a lot of sports, especially volleyball – for which he is also a qualified referee. In his free time, Mr. Ian enjoys exploring the great outdoors, and can be found walking or hiking through woodlands and over hills and mountains. Mr. Ian plans to explore the best of what Hong Kong has to offer and is hoping to become fluent in Cantonese. Being a teacher is a wonderful thing for Mr. Ian, as he likes to be able to help others and very much looks forward to building and developing his students’ confidence and capabilities in the English language.
Ms. Leeza is from Huntsville, Alabama. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016 with a degree in International Studies and Political Science. She grew up living and traveling throughout Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Over the summer of 2017, she completed the CELTA, which was her first experience teaching. In her free time, Ms. Leeza enjoys cooking, going to music venues, and exploring new places. She is extremely excited to tackle her new adventure of teaching and living in Hong Kong!
Mr. Aaron is from Meath in Ireland. He graduated from Maynooth University with a Bachelors degree in music technology and Greek and Roman Civilization. He hopes to use his music to bring some excitement to the classroom. He is looking forward to exploring Hong Kong, experiencing the culture and tasting new foods. His hobbies include travelling, reading and music.
