Ms. Chelsea is from Cape Town, South Africa. She has a degree in Film and Live Performance from AFDA and an honors diploma in Journalism from Rhodes University. Working with children throughout her career in film inspired her to travel abroad to Asia to teach and learn more about the diversity of the world.
Ms. Tash has travelled from South Africa to teach here in Hong Kong. She has a degree from UNISA in Psychology and Anthropology, and is currently studying for her Honors degree in Child Psychology. Before moving to Hong Kong, she taught English for a year in China, and has also previously taught physical education to children for 3 years in South Africa. In her free time, she enjoys being outside either hiking, surfing or sailing. On rainy days she loves to cook and do crafts. Ms. Tash is excited to be part of the Monkey Tree family and hopes to help all the children she teaches reach their full potential and have fun while learning.
Mr Jonathon’s hometown is Boston, USA. He is a 2018 Bentley University graduate with United States ESL tutoring and volunteering experience! Mr. Jonathon loves traveling and is excited to be teaching in Hong Kong!
Mr Matt is from Maine, in the United States. He has a degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from Clark University. He has worked in advertising and publishing secondary school textbooks for sight impaired students. Mr. Matt's brother, sister and father are all teachers so he is excited to continue the family tradition by joining the Monkey Tree team.
Ms Denise is originally from a small town outside Port Elizabeth in South Africa. She studied psychology and has a passion for working with young children. She is a hardworking and dedicated person and gives her all to her learners. She has worked as an online English teacher and after that she has taught at a school in South Africa.
